Kitsap County Delegation brings EduCulture to Terra Madre, October 2011, Torino, Italy

In October 2010, Kitsap County Commissioner Charlotte Garrido, Jonathan Garfunkel of The EduCulture Project and Rob Purser of the Suquamish Tribe, attended Terra Madre, an international convocation of food communities, with 5000 people from over 150 countries, held in Turin, Italy. In December, we shared our stories from our Terra Madre and Salone De Gusto experiences in Italy, and featured others who shared stories and tastes of food traditions from our region. This food event was presented in conjunction with Terra Madre events that took place all over the world.
