FUNDING NEWS

We are most grateful for support from the following foundations!

Global Source Education received a $5,000 grant from the Leiter Family Foundation and $2000 from the Clovis Foundation to support our 2008 Summer Institute on Food, Farming Culture and Education. Global Source qualified for this grant as a community-based non-profit that supports environmental and habitat education.

We received a $3000 grant from The Satterberg Foundation for capacity building.

We received a $2500 grant from the Pride Foundation to facilitate a dialogue on questions regarding Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual,Transgender, and Questioning Issues in K-12 Education.

A Note to our Global Source Friends

This past fall and winter Global Source is happy to announce that we have expanded—working with Kathryn Keve, Marilyn Hoban and Phil Davis. Meanwhile, we're making plans to expand our program offerings, adding a new Summer Institute on ecology and sustainablity, working with OSPI on the Social Studies CBAs, as well as ongoing consulting projects. We are in the process of expanding our Board and fund-raising so we can offer more programs.

Our website is being redesigned so you may find a few deadends for now...more is coming! If you do get lost, start again at the home page!

Global Source Education is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
