Tibetan Buddhist Mandalas: A Cross-Cultural Lesson Plan

A hands-on lesson about sacred art and culture that teaches students about Tibetan Buddhist mandalas and allows them to make their own mandala guided by the universal theme of compassion and incorporating personal world views. The lesson includes a teacher's guide, with additional source citations, and master copies for student materials: an introductory reading, worksheet of questions, and the mandala outline worksheet.
