Jong: A Traditional Tibetan Community in Exile
A film by Barbara Green and the Tibetan Video Project. An
award winning documentary about villagers from a community
in the Kham Province of Tibet who flee their homeland after
the Chinese occupation and resettle as a community in the
foothills of Northern India. The lama who arranges this
resettlement named their village Tashi Jong or Auspicious
